The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the principles of ethical thinking and work in Biology. Gaining insight into basic bioethical issues and problems, acquiring tools for critical analysis of bioethical issues and articulating their theoretical and practical dimensions. Introduction to the context of biological sciences underlying bioethical dilemmas and recognizing ethical challenges for scientists and society as a whole. |
