All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

Description:
Learning outcomes:
1. Understand the basic goals and working methods in palaeoecology
2. Understand the role of facies fossils in palaeoenvironmental interpretations.
3. Get familiar with facies fossils from different geological periods.
4. Learn how to apply palaeobiogeographical data in palaeoecology.
5. Learn about the palaeoenvironment at the territory of Croatia and the causes of environmental changes.
6. Learn how to apply theoretical knowledge in palaeoecology to own palaeoecological research.
