- explain the types and causes of isotope effects, and describe their usage in organic mechanisms analysis,
- explain the basic ideas behind the correlation between structure and reactivity,

- deduce the relative stabilities of reactive intermediates and transition states,
- identify all most important types of organic reaction mechanisms,
