Description:
COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: The aim of the course is to acquaint students with current research topics in mathematics. Through studying contemporary scientific literature and team work, students will get closer to the specifics of scientific research in the field of mathematical sciences.

COURSE DESCRIPTION AND SYLLABUS:
With the support of the teacher, students will actively participate in an online course organised by a distinguished European university, such as the International Internet Seminar on Evolution Equations. The research topic will change every year. Examples of topics of interest are: evolution equations, C*-algebras, spectral theory for semigroups, discrete Dirichlet spaces.
