COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The aim of the Physics 1 course is to master the basics of physics with selected examples from the fields of biology and chemistry. The emphasis of the course is on getting to know the basic physical concepts that are the basis for understanding phenomena and processes in biology and chemistry, and getting to know the different physical methods (spectroscopy, analytical methods, etc.) that are available for their study.

4) Newton's general law of gravity;
5) Dynamics of uniform circular motion;
6) Rotation of a rigid body;
7) Work, energy, impulse and momentum;
8) Fluids;
9) Hydrostatic pressure;
10) Capillarity;
11) Viscous flow;
12) Simple harmonic motion and elasticity;
13) Temperature and heat;
14) Ideal gas laws and kinetic theory.
