All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

Description:
COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: Working with the mainstream programming technologies. Adopting some basic management techniques that are needed for larger and more involved projects. Introducing graphical user interface design rules. Working with databases and data access idioms. Using distributed objects.

COURSE DESCRIPTION AND SYLLABUS:
1. Detailed study of the .NET platform from the level of Common Language Runtime (CLR). Designing graphical user interfaces by using the Windows Forms Library.
2. Access to databases via data access blocks. Getting acquainted with the Microsoft SQL Server relational database software.
3. Distributed programming for typical client-server architectures. Detailed acquaintance with the concepts of remoting technologies and their implementation in the .NET environment.
