The purpose of the course is to teach students about scientific research methodology in biology and related sciences. To achieve a level of understanding of the connection between the correct application of the scientific method and the results of research. Using examples of simple research, introduce students to the role of hypothesis, prediction, experiment design, sampling and sample size. Furthermore, the goal is to acquaint students with the basics of biological data analysis with practical tasks in the statistical environment R, interpretation and presentation of results.
