Description:
OUTCOMES
1. Recognize, define and describe the structure and build of a prokaryote or eukaryote.
2. Describe and explain processes that are taking place in every cellular department and relate them with cell functioning in general.
3. Identify every phase of cell division (mitosis and meiosis).
4. List and differentiate parts of cell signalization, and factors unvolved in this process
6. be able to use techniques of light microscopy and techniques of cellular fractionation
6. Analyze, abstract and interpret information obtained on basis of read text (a chapter, or scientific article)

COURSE OUTLINE
Chemical and biological evolution on Earth. Cell theory and origin of first cells. Life taxonomy. Characteristics of living organisms from different life domains. Prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
