Description:
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1) Integrate knowledge from genetics, immunology, evolution and cell biology in order to explain mechanisms of disease development
2) Assess which methods are the most reliable for detection of certain aberrations based on the comparison of disease mechanism in different organs and systems
3) Discuss ethical issues in choosing samples and methods used in particular studies, in accordance with national and international laws and directives
4) Analyze differences between research and diagnostic procedures in biomedicine with the relation to specificity of both types of laboratories
5) Plan laboratory experiments in concordance with available type of samples and the most reliable methods
