Description:
COURSE AIM:
The Medical Genetics course provides an understanding of the genetic mechanisms underlying disease development by integrating knowledge from genetics, immunology, physiology, and cell biology. Students will analyse the basis of specific diseases affecting different organ systems and develop the best approaches for studying these diseases. Special emphasis is given to ethical principles in research and compliance with national and international laws and directives. The course also prepares students to plan laboratory experiments while optimizing resources and assessing the reliability of results.
