TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 
The Call is open to applicants of both sexes on equal terms.
In addition to the general terms and conditions of employment, applicants have to meet the conditions set forth in the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (Official Gazette Nos 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07, 46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14,  60/15 and 131/17.)

In addition to their application, for points 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Call applicants have to submit: a CV, the relevant diploma, a proof of citizenship.

For point 1 of the Call, applicants have to satisfy the following condition: to hold a doctorate degree in the area of natural science, the field of biology.

For point 1 of the Call, applicants have to satisfy the following additional conditions: to have experience in implementation of molecular genetic research.

For point 2 of the Call, applicants have to satisfy the following condition: to hold a doctorate degree in the area of natural science, the field of geophysics.

For point 2 of the Call, applicants have to satisfy the following additional condition: to have experience in climate modelling. 

For point 3 of the Call, applicants have to satisfy the following condition: to hold a doctorate degree in the area of natural science, the field of geophysics.

For point 4 of the Call, applicants have to satisfy the following condition: to have completed a university graduate study programme in ecology and environmental protection; a graduate study programme in experimental biology; a graduate study programme in environmental science; a graduate study programme in molecular biology; or an integrated undergraduate and graduate study programme in biology and chemistry.

In addition to their applications, the applicants for point 1 of the Call have to submit evidence to prove that they meet the additional terms and conditions according to the Ordinance on Additional Terms and Conditions for Appointment into Grades and the Corresponding Positions at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.

Foreign nationals applying under any point of this Call have to submit a Croatian language certificate. 

Applicants who qualify for employment preference under the special regulations have to rely on the preference in their application and provide all evidence as listed in the special regulations governing the priority placement rights. Such applicants will be given employment preference within this Call over other candidates, under the same conditions as set forth in the Call, based on a duly completed and timely application, provided they meet all the terms and conditions of the Call. The applicants applying under the points 1 and 4 of the Call who are fully eligible under all the formal terms and conditions of the Call, as evident from their duly completed and timely application, will be invited for an interview with the Selection Board.
The applicants will receive a special notification advising them of the place and time of the interview.

Any applicants who fail to show up for the interview at the time and place as specified in the special notification, will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Call proceedings. 

An application shall be deemed duly completed if it contains all the data and supporting documents in keeping with the Call requirements. 
Incomplete and late applications shall not be taken into consideration.

The PMF collects and processes the personal data of the applicants taking part in the Call for Applications for positions with the aim of verifiying qualifications and eligibility in accordance with the Decision on the Collection, Protection and Processing of Personal Data (CLASSIFICATION No.035-01/18-01; FILE No:251-58-10201-18-2).

The closing date for submission of applications for all points of the Call is 30 days after the publication of the Call in the Official Gazette.  

The results of the Call will be published on the PMF website: www.pmf.unizg.hr (Competitions).
