TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The Call is open to applicants of both sexes on equal terms.

In addition to the general terms and conditions of employment, the applicants must also satisfy the additional conditions set forth in this Call in accordance with the needs of the Project.

The applicants must satisfy the following condition: to have completed a doctoral study programme in natural sciences, the field of physics, the branch of theoretical physics.

The applicant's work experience on the Croatian Science Foundation (hereinafter: HRZZ) projects must not exceed two years, while for those having been employed at the position of a postdoctoral research or a senior assistant, the total period of the postdoctoral training must not exceed four years, including the employment within the HRZZ projects.

If the applicant has been employed on international projects, the total postdoctoral training must not exceed six years (including the two years of working on the HRZZ projects).

The Call is open to the applicants who have no more than ten years of research work experience (since the start of the doctoral study programme). For the applicants who had transferred to another doctoral study programme, the ten-year period starts from the enrolment into the second doctoral programme.

The applicants submit the following documents in addition to their respective applications:

• a CV;
• the relevant diploma/degree; and
• a proof of citizenship.

The applicants who qualify for employment preference under the special regulations must refer to the preference in their application and provide all evidence as listed in the special regulations governing the priority placement rights. The applicants who have submitted their application and fully satisfy all the formal terms and conditions of the Call based on their duly completed, complete and timely application, will be invited for an interview with the Selection Board.

The applicants will receive a separate interview confirmation with the details concerning the time and place of the interview.

Any applicants who fail to attend the interview at the time and place as specified in the separate notification, shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the Call proceedings.

An application shall be deemed duly completed and complete if it contains all the data and supporting documents and attachments in keeping with the Call requirements.

Incomplete and late applications shall not be taken into consideration.

The PMF collects and processes the personal data of the applicants taking part in the Call for Applications for positions with the aim of verifying their qualifications and eligibility in accordance with the Decision on the Collection, Protection and Processing of Personal Data (CLASSIFICATION No. 035-01/18-01;

The closing date for the submission of applications for all points of the Call is 30 days after the publication of the Call in the Official Gazette.
