Biography

As a geoscientist specializing in ore geology and mineralogy, I bring extensive expertise in both laboratory analysis and fieldwork. My research encompasses the formation processes of bauxite, REE mineralogy, paleoenvironmental reconstruction, clay mineralogy and low-grade metamorphism, with practical experience in advanced techniques such as X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, as well as IR and Raman spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.

With broad interests across geology and a focus on advanced analytical techniques, I bring a well-rounded approach to my work, currently specializing in bauxite formation in Croatia. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams has enriched my approach to both research and project execution, enabling me to tackle complex geological questions from multiple perspectives. I look forward to applying my skills to support research projects within the Geology department.
