Seminar on Theoretical Computer Science

On Monday, March 15, 2021, 15:00 hours, Davor Runje (President of Croatian Independent Software Exporters Association - CISEx) will give lecture within Seminar on Theoretical Computer Science titled: "Croatian AI league". 

Abstract: Croatian AI league was recently launched by CISEx and CroAI associations. Main objective is to upgrade skills in machine learning through practical tasks, competition and mentorships. League is sponsored by Infobip, PhotoMath and Porsche Digital Croatia. Sponsors will provide support for workshops and mentorships, and organize practical teaching for students who achieve best results (in accordance with pandemic measures). Besides technical complexity, tasks being solved must fulfill broader social significance. Therefore, this year's partner is Blue World Association who works on protection of large vertebrates of the Adriatic. League's first task is recognizing dolphins on photographs, and second task is recognizing exact dolphins from set of photographs from single sightning. On this lecture we will show how to make basic model for first task and we will give you guidlines on how to improve it.
